Try me, hold me, love me (August 26 th)

Tonight I thought I might try to tell a story as a song. It’s supposed to match this music.

Come and linger
At a parisian restaurant
He’s the chief waiter
I’m a regular client

Will you dare, will you dance, will you ask
“Would you take my number ?”
You’ve already got my heart
Try me, hold me, love me

He’s coming at my table
Sliding between chairs and people
Sorry miss, we’re gonna close
The door, please take this rose

He does not realize I suppose
I came for him not a flower
I guess I’ll ask him later
Am I the one he chose

Try me, hold me, love me
Oh take a chance on me, on me, on me

This post is an answer to today’s prompt of the Dailypost : Take a chance on me.

This story is a part of my summer writing challenge : writing a 100 word story everyday, the 48th installment.

You can read all the details of my challenge and my reasons for doing it (and not CampNaNoWriMo) here.

I hope you will like today’s story and please do not hesitate to leave a comment.

  1. J’adore! It actually gives me a visual of being in Paris–at an outdoor café..waiting for my beloved better half Monsieur Lartigue aka better known on my blog as « Bonaparte »! Merci!

  2. Merci Catherine. I wrote it for a lyrics contest for an american singer from Texas. Since this is the very first song I have ever written, I do not expect much but I do enjoy the writing process and the thrill of thinking that maybe, my song could win. Who knows ?
