Fire to Ashes (August 5th)

Clients entered and left the studio all day long. All shapes and size, Bikers, traders, artists and office clerks. But this lady was different, quiet, reserved, flattening the pleats of her black linen dress, legs slighty bent  towards the door. Her bun gave her a Audrey Hepburn look too.

Tony took his time to clean and sterilize his workstation. He casually fetched the pink  flash book and invited his mysterious client to approach.

« What is it going to be sweetheart? Flower? Butterfly? Fairy? »

« I’d rather get a phoenix dancing with a dragon, please ».

This post is an answer to today’s Dailypost prompt  :  tattoo… you ?

I had the idea for this text quite quickly. I used to watch Miamy Ink during my pregnancy and I remembered a time when one of the guys was pissed off because his lady client wanted a « fucking fairy ».

This story is a part of my summer writing challenge : writing a 100 word story everyday, the 26 th installment.

You can read all the details of my challenge and my reasons for doing it (and not CampNaNoWriMo) here.

I hope you will like today’s story and please do not hesitate to leave a comment.
