I sat on a pebble beach, laptop opened on my knees, my eyes captured by the fortified castle on top of the hill, the ancient church built on a stone pier, the colors of the fisher boats answering the bright colors of the houses. A gentle breeze blown by the sea, charming local people, author friendly inspiration. Words poured on my keyboard, my writing was splendid, my inner editor at peace at last.
I typed the final word to my novel and… woke up. I felt doomed as I sat straight in my bed and stared at my messy desk.
