He sneaked in my booth and sat in front of me in silence, with his cute, earnest smile while looking at the sequins scarves on the walls. His eyes reflected the strain on his moral compass, and his fidgeting feet a higher stress level than the average first timer.
I took place in front of him and caught his hand. His palm showed a genuine longing to learn more but a sense of duty in the way.
« Maybe a celtic cross spread and, a lucky spell for 50 dollars ?
« Amex ? »
« Cash. Please. »
« I hope you’re legit. I’m IRS. »
« Oh boy. »
